The weather has been a little summery here of late. So this has impacted on my attendance at the gym. There is an outdoor pool at my gym but that requires a premium membership which I feel I cannot justify. In the summer, the pool tends to get over crowded and in winter, that icy blast whilst crossing from the building to the heated pool is quite a challenge.
So today it was the pull up station
A simple metal frame to do
- Wide pull ups 5 sets of 10
- Narrow grip pull ups 5 sets of 10
- Toes to the bar 5 sets of 10
- Dips 5 sets of 10
All listed regularly in those fitness youtube videos and it sounds so very easy on paper. Suffice to say I did need to take time and make a few stops. It is a very good thing that right next door is an emergency exit if it all gets too much- or they have to call additional help.
On the way home I saw a new local OutDoor Gym https://www.tgogc.com/
This has just appeared in our local area. There seems to be quite a range of items to use and looks as if one could do quite a routine here.
So far however there does not seem to be a group who are using it.
Ideas please and how does one get started?
